What To Think On If You Desire A Homeland Security Degree
Previous to the attacks of September 11, 2001, many of the responsibilities for the safety of the United States rested with different agencies. After the attacks, it was decided that giving one centralized agency control over many of those responsibilities would be the best way to keep the country safe, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was born.
